Young Herons doing the FA Respect handshake
Congratulations to the Iwade Herons Football Club who have been awarded the Charter Standard and is your child starting in Reception in September?

The Iwade Herons Football Club have been working hard to achieve Charter Standard status and have this week been awarded this by the FA.

According to the FA website "The FA Charter Standard Programme provides recognition that clubs are well run and sustainable, with child protection and safety paramount. It also recognises a club's commitment to coaching, player and coach development, and the raising of standards of behaviour in the game - all of which are big priorities for both me and The FA."

Well done Iwade Herons on achieving this standard. No mean feat!

Meanwhile if your child is going into Reception in September 2011 and is interested in playing football the Iwade Herons Football Club are now registering interest for next season's Under 5's development squad.

Training will be at 0900 each Sunday morning at Iwade Primary School from September 2011.
